A new president takes over today at Monroe Community College.
A virtual town hall is set for noon today for DeAnna Burt-Nanna. She'll be welcomed by the chair of the Board of Trustees -- Allen Williams -- outgoing Interim President Katherine Douglas, and student government representatives.
Burt-Nanna's hiring was announced in December. She was hired away from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, where she was the vice president of student and academic affairs for South Central College.
