NYS COVID-19 Positivity Rate Drops to Lowest Level in Six Months

The COVID-19 positivity rate in New York state has dropped to its lowest level in the last six months.

Of the slightly more than 191-thousand test results reported Saturday, just under one-point-five percent were positive.

That's the first time the state's positivity rate has been that low since October 28th.

The positivity rate on a seven-day rolling average dropped to one-point-eight percent, which is the lowest since November 6th.

The governor also announced that COVID-related hospitalizations in the state dropped to around 25-hundred, the lowest since November 6th.
