Webster School Superintendent Carmen Gumina Announces Retirement

There will be a change at the top of the Webster school district.

Superintendent Carmen Gumina has told parents in a letter today that he will retire tomorrow.

He calls it the best decision for him, his family, and the district.

Brian Neenan will take over as interim superintendent.

The announcement comes a week after former coach Kali Watkins alleged in a lawsuit that Gumina had a personal vendetta against him. Watkins was accused of raping a student in 2017 but was acquitted at his trial.
