University of Rochester Requiring Students get COVID Vaccine by August

The University of Rochester is requiring that its students get vaccinated for COVID-19 by August 1.

The requirement applies to all undergraduate and graduate students, whether they are living on or off campus.

Students who miss the August 1 deadline can still get immunized in time for fall classes.

Medical or religious vaccine exemptions are allowed, but the university will not offer remote instruction for students who are not vaccinated.
