A Spencerport man is going to prison for attempted receipt of child pornography.
Federal officials say 25-year-old Michael Greco was sentenced today to nearly 6 years behind bars.
Federal prosecutors say Greco had online conversations with someone he thought was the mother of a 13-year-old girl and agreed to pay 100 dollars to have sex with the teen.
He was actually talking to an undercover State Police investigator. He was arrested last January attempting to meet up with the child.
A search of his cell phone also revealed that he had tried to receive child pornography over the internet
