Former RIT President M. Richard Rose has Passed Away

Former RIT president M. Richard Rose has passed away at the age of 88.

Rose led RIT from 1979 to 1992.

Rose helped launch the university’s first doctoral program in 1990 -- the first and only imaging science Ph.D. in the nation at the time.

He also was president when RIT incorporated the former Eisenhower College.
