NY AG Names Attorneys to Lead Investigation into Allegations Against Cuomo

New York Attorney General Letitia James has named the two attorneys who will head an independent investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment against Governor Andrew Cuomo. They include a former federal prosecutor, and a partner at a major New York Law firm who focuses on employment law cases.

James says Attorneys Joon Kim and Anne Clark will lead the investigation, supported by three other attorneys. James says she wants an independent and thorough investigation of the facts, and that both Kim and Clark have the knowledge and background to provide it.

The two attorneys have been given authority to issue subpoenas, examine documents and records, depose witnesses and review any data pertinent to the investigation. They'll report weekly to the Attorney General on their findings and produce a written report of their findings that will be released to the public.
