The Producers of The Rochester Lilac Festival are addressing rumors regarding the status of this year’s festival.
According to a statement, the producers say the 2021 Rochester Lilac Festival is not canceled, but instead is currently being re-imagined to accommodate State and County health and safety regulations.
They say a formal proposal for the event has been submitted to The City of Rochester, Monroe County and New York State for review and they are waiting to hear back on possible approval.
