Memorial Service Today for Guardsmen Killed in Mendon Copter Crash

The National Guard will hold a memorial service today for the three Guard members who were killed in a helicopter crash last month.

Christian Koch, Daniel Prial, and Steven Skoda died when their Blackhawk helicopter went down in Mendon during a training mission.

Plans are also underway for a permanent memorial near the crash site.

Today's service is private, and will start at 2 p.m. at the Army Aviation Support Facility.
