Gov. Cuomo: Visitation at Nursing Homes Can Resume Soon

Governor Cuomo is easing coronavirus restrictions in New York state as coronavirus data continues to head in a positive direction.

He's allowing people to visit nursing homes once again.

Cuomo says guidelines will be released soon. He says the Department of Health will recommend that visitors take a rapid COVID test before entry, and DOH will provide those tests to nursing homes cost free.

The governor is also urging schools to fully reopen for in person learning.
