Monroe Co. Executive Waives Annual Food Service Establishment Fees

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello has formally waived the annual Food Service Establishment Fees for restaurants and other food service industry businesses.

It's intended as a form of relief for businesses hit hard by pandemic shutdowns.

The elimination of the 2021 permit fee applies to all restaurants, regardless of size. Any establishment that has already paid their permit fee for 2021 will receive a refund within 30 days. For those who paid by credit card, the refund will be issued to the credit card account. All others will receive a refund check in the mail.

Any restaurant or food service establishment that has not yet paid their permit fee must still apply for a new permit.
