Court Decisions May Aid Planned Whole Foods Store in Brighton

Two more court decisions could help clear the way for the planned Whole Foods store and other shops on Monroe Avenue in Brighton.

People living in the area have been fighting the project in court for years, but the latest rulings could prevent injunctions from blocking building permits or site work.

The judge, however, ruled the developers, Danielle Management, can't encroach on the right of way for the Auburn Trail next to the site.

Danielle says the Whole Foods could open next year
