Gov. Cuomo Delivers State of the State Address in Albany

Governor Andrew Cuomo says New York needs to get its economy going, adding it's not an option to stay shut down until the coronavirus vaccine is fully rolled out. Delivering his State of the State Address, Cuomo repeated plans to increase tax revenue, including the legalization of marijuana and sports betting. The governor also discussed his goal of advancing the "green economy" throughout New York, including renewable energy and businesses tied into "climate change." Cuomo went on to say shutdowns aren't sustainable due to both the economy and mental health while adding that "rebuilding" for a post-pandemic world is also a focus.
