Some area college students are getting an extended winter break.
Nazareth College and Monroe Community College are postponing the start of the spring semester, because of the surge in COVID cases.
The semester at Nazareth will start February 1 and end May 12. There will be no spring break.
Students will have to get a COVID test before the semester begins.
On-campus classes at MCC will start January 25.
