The University of Rochester Medical Center is temporarily closing its outpatient Sawgrass Surgical Center in Brighton.
Staff there will be redeployed to handle inpatient care at the hospitals and allow URMC to keep beds available for the surge in COVID cases.
The Sawgrass closing will begin on Wednesday.
URMC officials plan to say more about the redeployment plans later today.
