New York Makes it Easier to Register to Vote

New York is making it easier to register to vote.

Governor Cuomo has signed the Automatic Voter Registration Act.

It allows people who use various state agencies to register to vote at the same time.

The state DMV, the Departments of Labor and Health, the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, and SUNY will be part of the program in the coming years.
