Greece Woman Charged in Friend's Shooting

A Greece woman has turned herself in for the shooting death of another woman. Rochester Police say 20-year-old Airianna Judkins is charged with Manslaughter and Criminal Possession of a Weapon for the shooting of 21-year-old Chyra Floyd a month ago.

They say Judkins was a passenger in a car occupied by Floyd and a third person on Clairmount Street when there was an exchange of gunfire with people in a second car. Floyd fired an illegally-owned handgun at the other car, but the bullet hit Floyd, the front seat passenger, instead. She died after being brought to the hospital.

The second rear-seat passenger, 21-year-old Rayshawn Brumfield of Rochester, fired a handgun out the rear window at the second car. He was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Reckless Endangerment. Brumfield is being held in the Monroe County Jail because he was on parole.
