Man Convicted in Connection with Sodus Double Homicide, Released on Parole

An accomplice in a double-homicide in Wayne County has been released from prison on parole.

Bron Bohlar served about 16 months behind bars for his guilty plea to a conspiracy charge in the 2018 deaths of Joshua Niles and Amber Washburn.

Bohlar helped rent the car used by Timothy Dean and Dean's wife -- Charlene Childers -- to drive to Sodus to kill the couple.

Prosecutors said Childers had lost custody of the two children she shared with Niles and hoped by killing him, would get them back.
