UPDATE: State police have caught up with the man who took off Monday while on a work detail outside the Willard Drug Treatment Campus in Seneca County.
Twenty-nine-year-old parolee Kevin Witt didn't get far.
He was caught last night near Route 326 in the town of Aurelius, Cayuga County.
Charges are pending.

State troopers are looking for a man who vanished during a work detail outside the Willard Drug Treatment Campus in Seneca County.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kevin Witt is a parolee who was incarcerated at Willard.
He was last seen around seven o'clock last night.
State Police are now asking property owners near the Willard Drug Treatment Campus to check seasonal residences and trail cams for any sign of him.
