Beginning today visitor restrictions will go into effect at UR Medicine’s Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville and other Noyes facilities.
The policy follows an increase in COVID-19 cases in the area.
Health officials say no visitors will be allowed until further notice, with some exceptions including for maternity patients and pediatric patients.
Exceptions will also be be made on a case-by-case basis, for patients with diminished mental capacity issues, or for those nearing end-of-life.
