Rochester Resident Accused of Attempting to Incite a Riot Free Until Trial

A Rochester resident accused of using Facebook posts to try to incite a riot won't be held in federal custody until the trial.

Rylea Autumn, also known as Ryan Howe, will have to get a mental health examination and can't go out in public after 9 p.m.

Autumn allegedly posted social media messages last week with instruction on making a Molotov cocktail, and messages espousing beliefs consistent with ANTIFA ideology.

Rochester police also accused Autumn earlier this month of agitating protesters outside the public safety building.
