Sentencing For Man Guilty of Xerox Federal Credit Union Robbery and Murder

The man convicted of the 2003 armed robbery and murder at the Xerox Federal Credit Union in Webster, is sentenced today to life in prison.

Richard Wilbern was found guilty of all charges against him at his trial last fall.

He was accused of wearing a disguise and a jacket with FBI letters when he robbed the bank and shot two customers, killing one.

Wilbern was arrested in 2016. DNA found on an umbrella left at the scene was matched to DNA in Wilbern's saliva on an envelope.
