Gov. Cuomo: Statewide COVID-19 Positivity Rate Below One Percent

New York is continuing to report that less than one-percent of all COVID-19 tests conducted statewide are coming back positive, which Governor Cuomo is identifying as the key-metric going forward.

He says as the state monitors re-opening, including how many people are allowed in things like restaurants, remaining below the one-percent threshold will be key.

In total, 483 patients are hospitalized with coronavirus, with 138 in the ICU, and 67 on ventilators. The deaths of four more New Yorkers have been attributed to the virus.
