Faith Leaders: Protests Over Death of Daniel Prude Must be Focused

African-American faith leaders say the movement and protests for police reform in Rochester must have a spiritual base.

The Reverend Lewis Stewart says the Black Lives Matter protesters need to focus on achievable goals -- not demand the resignations of the mayor and district attorney.

Stewart plans to meet with the protest organizers Friday afternoon.

Stewart says the Reverend Jesse Jackson will visit the city, possibly next week.
