SUNY Oswego to Make Changes Following Spike in COVID-19 Cases

SUNY Oswego is announcing some changes following an increase in COVID-19 cases on campus.

Officials say as of today, Oswego has 82 positive cases.

The President of the school has announced that because of the increase, all athletics activity including practices, meetings, workouts and gatherings will be suspended for the rest of the semester.

Additionally, any Greek organization on campus that hosts a large party or group activity will be penalized, visitors to residence halls are prohibited and in-person dining is suspended indefinitely.

New York State has announced that if a college or university has 100 cases of COIVD or more, the school will have to move to remote learning for 14 days.
