A six year old child is dead following a one vehicle crash in Steuben County yesterday.
State Police say 30-year-old Derek Clark was driving on State Route 36 in the Town of Wayland around 6:30 last night, when his car went off the road, struck a guide rail and a telephone pole and flipped.
Clark's six-year-old daughter who was in the back seat, was killed in the crash.
Clark was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and vehicular manslaughter.
