The Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester, Inc. in Brighton is laying off employees.
According to a WARN Notice from the New York State Department of Labor, of the 343 employees that were furloughed in March, 296 will be permanently separated effective today.
The WARN Notice was posted online on Friday and says the reason for the layoffs was because of 'unforeseeable business circumstances prompted by COVID-19.'
