Cases of COVID-19 At SUNY Oneonta Increase, Officials End In Person Classes

The coronavirus situation at SUNY Oneonta is getting worse. Nearly 400 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported at the school.

Officials now say they are now ending all in person classes and activities for the rest of the fall semester and sending on campus students home. The college had begun a two-week “pause” period on Saturday in order to focus on testing while limiting the spread of COVID-19. The semester started last Monday.

The college says it does have a plan in place to issue full refunds for housing and prorated refunds for dining for students who are moving out of their dorm rooms.
