USOC Sued Over Alleged Nassar Sex Abuse at Rochester Event

Larry Nassar

One of the lawsuits brought under New York's Child Victims Act was filed by a former Rochester woman claiming she was abused by former U.S. gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

The plaintiff is Nicolle Ford, who now lives in Nevada. She is suing the U.S. Olympic Committee, and others, for enabling the abuse.

She claims Nassar abused her when she was 14 during a US Olympic qualifying event in Rochester in 1999.

Nassar is in prison for numerous sex offenses.

The Child Victims Act suspended the statute of limitations for abuse claims.
