Rochester Man Gets 20 Years in Prison for Armed Bank Robberies

A Rochester man will serve 20 years in prison for his role in 3 armed bank robberies 4 years ago.

35-year-old Terrance Rainey will also have to pay over $30,000 in restitution.

Federal prosecutors say Rainey and Latrell Parson robbed the First Niagara Bank on Winton Road in Henrietta in May of 2016, then robbed the Chase Bank on State Route 31 in Macedon less than 2 months later.

Rainey and Parson then robbed the M&T Bank located on Oak Orchard Road in Elba that October.

Parson has already been sentenced to just under 12 years in prison.
