A man who allegedly stabbed a woman several times in Canandaigua, has been arrested by State Police.
Authorities say they have charged Mark Zullo with menacing a police officer, second degree assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon following the incident on Saturday.
State Police say when they arrived on the scene Zullo ignored Troopers orders to drop the weapon.
Zullo was shot when he started advancing toward officers. He was arrested after he was released from the hospital.
