State Police Make Arrest In Connection With Oneida Castle Homicide

State Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide this week in Oneida County.

State Police say they have arrested and charged 22-year-old Travon Golden with second degree murder in connection with the death of 22-year-old Tyler McBain.

Police found McBain dead on the floor of his Seneca Avenue apartment in Oneida Castle, Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses told police they heard an argument then saw a man running from the scene and getting into a dark-colored SUV.

That prompted a manhunt and a chase that ended near the Waterloo outlets.

Golden is being held without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
