13th Protester Charged With Federal Crime Following May 31st Riot

Another of the protesters accused of turning to violence at a May 31st Demonstration in Rochester is facing federal charges for torching a Rochester police car.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 25-year-old Christopher Tindal of Rochester has been charged with conspiracy to commit arson and with arson. More than a dozen individuals have now been charged by federal authorities with committing acts of violence during the riot that developed following the protest march. Demonstrators were protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis when the violence broke out.
