Liquor License Suspended at Webster Bar for COVID-19 Violation

A Webster bar has had its liquor license suspended for violating COVID-19 restrictions.

The State Liquor Authority says Burkes Grill on South Avenue had patrons ignoring social distancing, as well as a bartender serving people without a mask.

Several customers also reportedly were served alcohol without food.

State police and the liquor authority have been conducting compliance checks at bars across the state.
