Kodak To Be Investigated For Potential Insider Trading

The Securities and Exchange Commission reportedly will look into the circumstances surrounding the news that Kodak would get a government loan to make pharmaceutical ingredients, and the subsequent surge in stock prices.

Stock trades and options granted to top executives prior to the announcement have raised eyebrows.

Senator Elizabeth Warren sent a letter to the SEC this week urging the agency to investigate potential insider trading.

Before the announcement Kodak was trading last week at just over $2 a share. After the announcement, the price briefly rose to $60.
