A man accused of killing a Rochester store clerk in April has been indicted on a murder charge by a Rochester grand jury. Gilberto Rivera is charged with second degree murder in the death of Chernet Tiruneh at the Chappa Grocery on Grand Avenue.
This was the first grand jury to hand up indictments since the pandemic shutdown in March.
The District Attorney's office says four people were indicted on second degree murder charges, including Tory Aldridge for the March murder of Norris Jay of Rochester.
