Governor Cuomo is announcing a "Mask Up America" campaign. The campaign urges all Americans to wear a mask while in public to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
It includes a series of eight TV public service announcements and uses the voices and talents of celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman, John Leguizamo and Rosie Perez.
The governor said New Yorkers suffered gravely from COVID-19 and Americans need to know it's essential to wear a mask in order to protect one another.
