Rochester Police say they have arrested the man who led them on a high speed chase early this morning.
Police say they tried to pull over a car over fitting the description of a vehicle that a witness says fired shots on Pierpont Street.
The car stopped briefly then took off leading police on a high speed chase on Route 104 and through several neighbor hoods.
Police say they finally were able to stop the car at Jefferson and Frost Avenues and took the 43 year old man driving the car into custody.
He is expected to face charges later today.
