New York State is creating a new department to help local governments enforce reopening guidelines.
Businesses are being asked to follow the regulations to keep employees and customers from getting sick.
However, not everyone has been going along with the rules, much to the dismay of health officials and Governor Cuomo.
He has threatened in the past to close down regions that don't comply and is calling on local governments to make sure everyone is following the proper protocols.
