Federal Charges Filed Against Suspect Arrested Following Rochester Riot

One of the suspects arrested on state charges after the May 30th riot in Rochester -- for setting fire to a construction trailer -- is now facing federal arson charges.

According to charging documents, Marquis Fraiser was visible in a live social media video throwing a Molotov cocktail into the trailer on Exchange Boulevard.

He turned himself into city police June 22 and was charged with arson, burglary and riot.

The rioting began outside the Public Safety Building after a peaceful protest against the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota.
