Order allowing restaurants in the state to serve takeout cocktails extended

Governor Cuomo is expected to extend his order allowing restaurants in the state to serve takeout cocktails and wine. A spokesman for the governor tells an Albany newspaper the administration realizes what a boost those beverages have been for businesses during the pandemic. The current order is set to expire tomorrow, but permission to continue selling the drinks will be included in a new order. Bars and restaurants are being reminded to continue following health guidelines or risk losing their liquor license.
