Many primary races won't be decided for at least another week. With many absentee ballots still to be counted next week, the winners of the closest races can't be called. In the Democratic primary for Monroe County Clerk, Jennifer Boutte (boo-TAY) leads former Assemblywoman Jamie Romeo (ROH-me-oh) by four percentage points. Romeo was appointed to fill a vacancy in the office earlier this year. In Democratic primaries for the state Assembly, Sarah Clark is well ahead in District 136, Demond Meeks has a lead in District 137, and incumbent Harry Bronson leads Alex Yudelson by 20 points in District 138. In State Senate District 56, Jeremy Cooney leads the three-way primary.
