Rochester Police Make Arrest in Chappa Grocery Store Homicide

Rochester police have solved the April shooting death of a man working at a corner store in the city's Beechwood neighborhood.

Thirty-year-old city resident Gilberto Rivera was arraigned this morning on a second-degree murder charge.

He was arrested yesterday for the April 28th shooting at Chappa Grocery on Grand Avenue.

Thirty-four-year-old Chernet Tiruneh, also known as "Alex," died at the scene.
