Tyquan Rivera Charged in Death of Motorcyclist

The man previously convicted of shooting a Rochester police officer faces charges in connection with a fatal crash in the city Friday night. Tyquan Rivera shot Officer Anthony DiPonzio in 2009 when he was just 14-years-old. Rivera is now facing charges related to a fatal crash Friday in the area of Upper Falls Boulevard and Almira Street. Police say Rivera was driving an SUV that hit and killed a motorcyclist.
