Greece Man Pleads Guilty to Threatening Federal Officials

Federal prosecutors say a Greece man has pleaded guilty to charges of threatening a United States Official.

They say 57-year-old Salvatore Lippa of Greece admitted to threatening Congressman Adam Schiff in January, and New York Senator Charles Schumer in February by leaving messages on their voicemail. The defendant admitted making the calls because he was upset over the impeachment of President Trump.

Lippa was tracked down by Capitol Police and the Greece Police Department.
