Graduation Ceremonies Can Happen in NYS, But There's a Catch

High school seniors across New York will be able to celebrate their graduation with friends and family, they'll just have to do it outside.

Governor Cuomo announced yesterday that outdoor commencement ceremonies can begin June 26th. However, the gatherings will be limited to 150 people or less in an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The governor says the graduation policy could change on short notice if there's another big spike in COVID-19 cases.
