American Hockey League Canceling Remainder of Season

The coronavirus pandemic is leading the American Hockey League to call it quits this season. The league says it's canceling the rest of the regular season along with the Calder Cup playoffs. League President David Andrews said in a statement the move was made because finishing the season "is not feasible in light of current conditions." There will be no champion this season, which is the first time that's happened in the more than 80 years the AHL has been around.
