Rochester Region Closer To Meeting Requirements For Reopening This Month

The Rochester-Finger Lakes region appears to be close to meeting the conditions the governor set for the restart of the local economy this month.

Monroe County Public Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza says the area still needs more testing to comply.

The region must also line up 361 "contact tracers" -- the workers who track down those who had contact with infected people.

Mendoza says he is optimistic that number can be reached soon.
