The 11 confirmed COVID-19 deaths in Orleans County are connected to a single adult living facility in Albion -- the Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The facility is also the location for roughly half of all of the county's confirmed infections.
According to News10NBC, the home sent a letter to families this week confirming "one or more" of the residents died from COVID-19. The letter says some residents are under "do not resuscitate" orders.
The county health department says it is providing guidance to the home and working to get protective equipment as requested and available.
