Gov. Cuomo Sued For Not Having Sign Language Interpreter At Briefings

Governor Cuomo is being sued for not providing an in-screen sign language interpreter during his televised coronavirus briefings.

Four deaf New Yorkers -- and the non-for-profit Disability Rights New York -- filed the lawsuit in New York City.

Cuomo says the state provides real-time sign language interpretation on the state's website, as well as closed-captioning services.
